MOTHERHOOD

Motherhood is a passion, motherhood is a possession

 It's a lovely expression of a mother for her children.

No one else can experience this heavenly bliss

except women who would never like to miss.

Without this, a woman is never complete

h'ever there are some unlucky ones who're not blessed with this.

But as the children grow up, motherhood becomes a challenge

keeping a strict vigil & maintaining a balance,

Balance between their childhood & their teenage

balance between their likes & craze.

A modern mother is a master-juggler

balances kids, work & home,

 drops the kids to parties & soccer.

But that's not enough.

she wants her children to pep up

pep up with music, dance & karate to be tough.

Multitasking becomes her destined duty

but children say that this adds to motherhood's beauty !

If mothers need their help,they make excuses

like" I am not well or life is a hell!"

At the end of the day , the mother is left high & dry

if she ever wants to be easy,the children say, they are very busy.

Little does anybody think about this blistered soul

who doesn't complain but surely her mind 

pines for some relief , some console.

would there be a day when children would say

'relax ma ! we'll do whatever you say.'

(on this mother's day, i hope , generation X would spare a moment 

out of their busy schedule and help their mothers to endure and prevail.This poem is based on general observation,not applicable to all.)
